PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The Program Coordinator supports the successful delivery of Third Space’s Building Bridges program, a career development program for Black and racialized youth aged 18–26.
This role combines project coordination, youth engagement, and administrative support.
You’ll work closely with the team and participants to ensure the program runs smoothly, sessions are prepared, and all tracking/deliverables are up to date.Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate program sessions by scheduling dates, confirming facilitator availability, and preparing agendas to ensure smooth delivery.
Communicate with facilitators and guest speakers to share program details, expectations, and materials ahead of each session.
Manage logistics for workshops and events, including organizing supplies, coordinating setup, and supporting on-the-day execution.
Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, registrations, and session notes, and keep digital files organized for easy access.
Contribute to reporting and storytelling by compiling participant feedback, quotes, and highlights that demonstrate program impact.
What we’re looking for:
Familiarity with community programming and an interest in supporting grassroots or youth-focused initiatives.
Interest and/or experience in community building, particularly with a focus on youth participation and career development, is a strong asset.
Reliable, proactive, and able to take initiative in completing administrative and logistics tasks that support impactful programming.
Awareness of the barriers youth face in education, employment, and community participation, and a commitment to supporting equitable access.
Location: Hybrid
Honorarium based (20–30 hours a month) -
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
The Social Media Coordinator role focuses on building and sharing TH3RDSPACE’s story online. In this role, you will not only be creating content, but focus on storytelling that helps us connect with our community in meaningful ways, highlighting the impact of our programs and partnerships.
Note: This role requires you to send a portfolio of your current work.Key Responsibilities:
Create graphics, video content and photos for social media platforms (primarily Instagram), aligned with TH3RDSPACE’s brand identity and values
Draft engaging captions and digital copy that reflect the organization’s mission, tone, and community-centered approach
Assist with the design, layout, and content planning of TH3RDSPACE’s monthly or bi-monthly newsletter
Stay informed on trends in social media, design, and community engagement to inform and evolve content strategy
What we’re looking for:
Demonstrated experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or similar platforms
Strong written communication skills, particularly for digital and community-facing content
Familiarity with newsletter platforms such as Mailchimp or Substack
A background or interest in community-based, nonprofit, or storytelling work is strongly preferred
Priority will be given to those who are from Black and racialized communities

PROGRAM SUPPORT
The Program Support role focuses on the administrative side of our work. In this role, you will help keep our team organized by managing scheduling, documentation, and communication across our core programs and partnerships. We are looking for someone to support our programs run smoothly behind the scenes, allowing facilitators and program coordinators to focus on delivery and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records and documentation (attendance, registrations, notes) and keep Google Drive folders, subfolders, and digital forms up to date.
Coordinate scheduling for programs, events, and internal meetings.
Handle logistics for workshops and events by preparing materials, coordinating setup, tracking supplies, and ensuring resources are ready for each session.
Support documentation and reporting by entering surveys and participant data, compiling notes, quotes, and stories, and maintaining archives for evaluation and storytelling.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms) and willing to learn new about programming.
Familiarity with community programming and an interest in supporting grassroots or youth-focused initiatives.
Interest and/or experience in community-based programming, with an understanding of the barriers youth face in education, employment, and participation.
